An Adirondack Cabin

Living room

Wobniar's interior is a study in natural wood and color. From the antique pine floor and original pine walls and cabinetry, to the cedar log beams over head, to the vaulted pine bead board ceilings throughout - Wobniar seeks consistency with the outdoors.

Our thanks go to local craftsman Mace Moody, who transformed Wobniar as a work of art.

Guest bedroom

The master bedroom (left & below) is centered by a queen-size bed made by Old Hickory Furniture Company. The room is pine bead board walls in dark green with ceiling and pine plank floor in natural wood.

The second bedroom has a pine log bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top. Like the master bedroom, this room is dark green pine bead board walls with natural wood ceiling and floor.

The loft

The loft provides a nice vantage point for the living room and kitchen, but is only for (non-corporate) ladder climbers. Here's the long view of the loft's double-bed.

Side porch

Lake-side porch view

Porches help bring the natural Adirondack surroundings into the cabin and provide great spaces for reading, dining, and relaxing in the pine air. The screened side porch provides an outdoor respite during mosquito season, while the lake-side porch has a Rainbow Lake view that is absolutely spectacular.

Kayaking on Rainbow

And yes, of course, there's the lake. Being in it, on it, or just gazing upon it, Rainbow Lake is the center of gravity for Wobniar life...
